Juan de anza Elementary

Juan De Anza Elementary School in Hawthorne, California was designed to enrich students learning experience and create a flexible environment while keeping it fun and friendly. This 62,000 square foot project included a pre-k center, two daycare rooms, 28 K-5 classrooms, a kitchen, library/media center and multi-purpose center.

Large classrooms included built-in base cabinets with adjustable upper shelves, white boards on sliding tracks, Formica countertops, and a sink.

The vibrant color palette and modern design elements highlight the hallways, trellises, and floor tiles. Natural lighting was incorporated throughout the project to maximize energy efficiency goals.
